叙事身份研究的社会实践转向

Narrative Construction of Identity:Towards a Social Practice Turn

认识自我乃是哲学研究的最高追求,而个人叙事研究为这一追求打开了方便之门。本文在厘清'身份'概念的基础上,论述叙事的真实性问题。针对目前话语分析学界关心的'大故事'和'小故事'研究范式之争,本文倡导叙事研究的社会实践转向,并指出在这种转向下叙事研究应该遵循的基本原则和具体方法。最后,本文指出,要对个人叙事进行深入研究,我们必须回归到叙事研究的哲学根基——哲学解释学,在叙事分析中注重整体和局部的释义循环,关切分析者和叙述者的视野融合。

Understanding the self is the highest pursuit of all philosophical investigation,and personal narratives provide a vehicle for such investigation.In response to the recent debate around big stories and small stories,this paper aims to propose a social practice turn in the narrative study after clarification of relevant basic concepts,in which the principles and research methods are suggested following such a perspective.Finally,the paper suggests that we should go back to the philosophical root of hermeneutics in order to delve into personal narratives,in which narrative sense making can be studied with reference to the global and the local meaning of narrative text,and the fusion of perceptive among analysts and participants among narrative in interaction.
