区域形象建构的话语—语用分析——以华夏文明传承创新区建设中“甘肃形象”的建构为例

A Discourse-pragmatic Approach to Regional Image Construction:A Case Study of Gansu Image Construction in the Establishment of Chinese Civilization Heritage Innovation Area

话语在区域形象建构中发挥着重要作用。本研究构建了一个包括话语内容、话语方式、建构主体和语用动因的四维度区域形象话语语用分析模式,并以华夏文明传承创新区建设的相关语料为分析对象,对其中'甘肃形象'的建构进行了考察。分析表明,'甘肃形象'是由不同具体层面构成的一个集合,华夏文明传承创新区建设的各种报道中突显了'甘肃形象'的三个不同层面。就其语用动因来看,通过不断重复建构'甘肃是华夏文明的重要发祥地'和'甘肃文化资源富集'两个层面,以突显甘肃可以被建设成为一个文化大省的可能性,进而促进其经济的发展。另外,'甘肃形象'的建构主体主要是政府官员,也包括专家学者等,但缺乏其他社会群体的参与。

Discourse plays a very important role in constructing regional image.This study first constructed a discourse-pragmatic framework including four dimensions,i.e.,discourse content,discourse mode,subject of the image construction and pragmatic motivation.It was then employed to analyze the construction of'Gansu Image'based on the data from the website of the Establishment of Chinese Civilization Heritage Innovation Area in Gansu.It was found that Gansu Image was a set containing several specific aspects and three of them had been highlighted in the reports of the Establishment of Chinese Civilization Heritage Innovation Area.The images of'Gansu is the birthplace of the Chinese civilization'and'Gansu is an important treasure house of Chinese cultural resources'have been frequently constructed to make salient the possibility that Gansu can be developed into a major cultural province,thus promoting its economic development.It was also found that the subjects constructing'Gansu Image'were mainly governmental officials and well-known scholars,with less participation of other groups.
