城市身份的话语建构——基于兰州国际马拉松赛话语的批评性分析

The Discursive Construction of Urban Identity——A CDA of Lanzhou International Marathon Discourse

从批评性话语分析视角出发,运用话语历史分析法,通过系统分析兰州国际马拉松赛话语,揭示了其所建构的兰州城市身份,探究了城市身份的话语建构问题。分析表明,该话语主要通过谓语指示策略、视角化策略和命名策略等话语策略建构城市身份,各策略运用语言手段不同;该话语折射了该市城市身份建构的主要政策导向,但其城市身份建构的文化内涵薄弱,可能是由专家学者话语参与者的缺失造成,企业话语参与者和经济发展话语主题的缺失也使该话语缺少从经济发展主题对城市身份的建构;城市身份的话语建构对城市发展至关重要。

From the perspective of critical discourse analysis,this paper applied its discourse-historical approach to the analysis of the Lanzhou International Marathon discourse to reveal the urban identities it had built and to explore the effect of discourse on urban identity construction.It was found that predication,nomination and perspectivization were the major discursive strategies it had employed and each strategy used its distinctive linguistic means;the cultural urban identity construction was not solid,which may be attributed to the absence of expert and scholar social actors in it;the economic urban identity construction was poor,which may be attributable to the absence of entrepreneur social actors and the economic discourse topic.This discourse well reflected the local government’s orientation towards its city identity.And the discursive construction of urban identity is key to the development of a city.
