政治语篇的批评隐喻分析——以习近平在纪念红军长征胜利80周年大会上的讲话为例

A Critical Metaphor Analysis of Political Discourse——A Case Study of Xi Jinping’s Speech on the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Long March

批评隐喻综合运用批评话语分析、语料库分析、语用学和认知语言学研究分析隐喻,揭示隐藏的思想、价值和意识形态。在政治演讲中,领导者往往使用一定的话语策略,将他们的观念传达给听众,以实现演讲的特定目的。本文以习近平总书记在纪念红军长征胜利80周年大会上的重要讲话为分析对象,以批评话语分析为理论框架,运用Charteris-Black的批评隐喻分析方法,探究国家领导人是怎样对长征精神进行解读和建构以团结全国人民为实现中华民族伟大复兴而奋斗的。经过分析可以发现,该讲话主要运用了旅行隐喻、战争隐喻以及建筑隐喻等,这些隐喻可以极大地激发和唤起中国人民为实现社会主义现代化而奋斗的信念和动力。

Critical metaphor analysis is a comprehensive method to integrate critical discourse analysis,corpus analysis,pragmatics and cognitive linguistics to reveal the hidden ideas,values and ideology.In political speeches,leaders often apply some discourse strategies to convey their ideas to the audience,so as to achieve the specific purpose of the speech.This paper takes Chairman Xi Jinping’s speech on the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Long March as the data,adopting critical discourse analysis as the theoretical framework with critical metaphor analysis of Charteris-Black as the method,to explore how the leaders interpret and construct the spirit of the Long March to untie the Chinese people to struggle for the great rejuvenation of China.It can be concluded that this speech mainly adopts journey metaphors,war metaphors and building metaphors,which can greatly stimulate and encourage Chinese people to struggle for the realization of socialist modernization.
