Currently,the prevailing patterns of China's media industry in utilizing capital market in its development include being enlisted in the stock market,acquiring an existing company in the stock market,and attracting foreign investment,etc..Though there still exist obstacles in the marriage between media industry and the stock market, they will not in fact prevent the convergence of the two.The development trend of international media industry and the entry of foreign investment into China's capital market indicate that the best option of the development of media industry in China is to utilize the capital market to merge,reshuffle,expand the scale of assets and improve economic efficiency for the purpose of survival and development of the media industry.
