珠三角地区中小型涉外企业商务英语人才规格研究

Research on Specifications for Business English Talents in Small-and-Medium-Sized Export-oriented Enterprises in Pearl River Delta Area

文章通过对广州、深圳、珠海、佛山、东莞、中山上述六市中小型涉外企业中的高职商务英语专业毕业生及其雇主进行问卷调查和访谈,了解毕业生在企业中所从事的岗位、工作任务、对毕业生素质的要求等,分析涉外企业对商务英语人才规格的需求,了解企业对商务英语人才在人格、品格、知识能力结构、身心健康等方面的期待,从知识、能力、素质三个维度概括了珠三角地区中小型涉外企业对商务英语人才的要求,指出广东高职院校商务英语专业在人才培养方面要更加关注非专业因素,如职业社会能力、职业方法能力和职业道德素质。

This paper investigates Business English graduates from Polytechnic Colleges and their employers in small-and-medium-sized export-oriented enterprises in 6 Pearl River Delta cities including Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Zhuhai,Foshan,Dongguan and Zhongshan with an aim to collect information about jobs offered and tasks assigned to these graduates as well as demand of enterprises for quality of graduates. Specifications for Business English talents in Pearl River Delta area,namely,the demand of small-and-medium-sized exportoriented enterprises for business English talents in terms of personality,structure of knowledge and ability,physical and mental health, etc. are analyzed. The authors summarize the demand from 3 dimensions-knowledge,ability and quality. They point out that business English majors in Guangdong's polytechnics,in terms of cultivation of talents,should pay more attention to non-professional factors such as profession-based social ability,profession-based methodological ability and profession-based moral quality.
