太平天国运动之际人口变动及对湖州民俗文化的影响

The Movement of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and Its Influence on the Folk Culture of Huzhou

"丝绸之府,鱼米之乡"的湖州自宋以来未遭重大的兵燹人祸,但清末太平天国运动造成湖州七县人口大量损失,与此同时大量外籍移民、散兵游勇定居湖州,人口变动对湖州产生了全方位、深刻而久远的影响,促使居湖人民在语言、生活习惯、风俗民情等方面日益融合,从而对湖州民俗文化产生了影响。

Known as'Silk of the House,the land of plenty',Huzhou had not suffered any serious consequences resulting from war or disaster since the Song Dynasty.But the movement of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom caused a large loss of population in seven counties of Huzhou,but at the same time a large number of foreign immigrants settled in Huzhou.The population change had a comprehensive,profound and lasting influence on Huzhou.This paper gives an analysis of Huzhou's population changes during the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom,and it also focuses on the impact of population change on Huzhou folk culture,especially the living habits,dialect,performing arts and other aspects of the Anji County so as to give a better understanding of the changes and development of Huzhou folk culture.
