摘要
烟粉虱Bemisia tabaci是世界性分布的植食性刺吸式昆虫,给农业生产造成了巨大的经济损失。刺吸电位技术(Electrical Penetration Graph,EPG)是研究刺吸式口器昆虫取食的可靠工具,其波形能够表示昆虫刺探植物组织的某些细节。目前已有许多EPG技术在烟粉虱方面的研究和应用。本文从EPG的发展和国内外烟粉虱的研究现状出发,综述了EPG技术在烟粉虱研究中的应用及进展。
Bemisia tabaci is a piercing-sucking insect with worldwide distribution, which has caused great economic losses to agricultural production. Electrical penetration graph( EPG) technique is a reliable tool in the studies on the feeding behaviors of piercing-sucking insects. EPG wavefonns represent the details of probing behaviors of insects in certain plant tissues. This article reviews the application of EPG in B. tabaci studies and new findings from the development of EPG and the research status of B. tabaci.
