Research progress of urban ecology and urban ecological environment

阐述了城市生态学的起源与发展过程,以及国内外城市生态环境与城市生态学研究内容及进展;提出城市生态学的发展主要经历萌芽、兴起和分化、发展、实践4个阶段;指出了城市可持续发展是当代城市生态环境问题研究的重要动向和热点,生态城市是人类可持续发展城市的理想模式;城市生态学和城市生态环境学成为各国城市可持续发展及制定21世纪议程的科学基础。

The origin and development progress of urban ecology were expatiated in this paper. The study contents and progress of urban ecological environment and urban ecology in the China and in other country were mentioned. The author put forward that the development of urban ecology experienced three stages, such as germination stage, rise and differentiation stage, and development and practice stage. Urban sustainable development is the important trend and hotspot of research in the field of urban ecological environment . Ecocity is the ideal mode of urban sustainable development. Urban ecology and urban ecological environment are the science foundation of urban sustainable development and constituting agenda of 21 century in the world.
