In this article the construction method and technical process of herbage protection in high earth roadbed side slope utilizing earth-fixing mat are introduced. Meanwhile some matters needing attention are mentioned such as planting time selection and selected type of earth-fixing mat. The effect analysis reveal that applying earth-fixing mat can reduced cost and increase green coverage area to meet the demands of green environment protection.
