The characteristics of grinding technology with roller press were analyzed, and the application of this grinding technology in cement industry was assessed and summarized. It pointed out that using roller press as pre-grinding, hybrid grinding and combination grinding is now the most popular technology, by which the best effect of saving energy of finished grinding can be acquired. But in the meantime, the influence on cement quality must be paid attention to.
