摘要
简述了精细结构常数 (FSC)的定义和测量 ,介绍了J .Webb等人根据对遥远的类星体观测发现的FSC异常。他们所分析的光是宇宙早期时天体发出的光 ,发现那时α之值较小 ,故认为宇宙早期时光速值较大。介绍了P .Davies等于最近提出的理论观点 ,认为在创世大爆炸时光速非常大 ,据此容易解释宇宙的大尺度均匀性 ;如光速可变 ,就必须重新审查关于时空的理论 (狭义相对论SR)。为了解释Webb实验 ,本文提出了一个新观点 ,即认为在宇宙的早期光子速度较快、能量较大 ,亦即在那时光速值 (c)和Planck常数值 (h)
This paper is devoted to a survey of Fine Structure Constant(FSC)definitions and measurements.In Aug.2001,J.Webb et.al.describe the results of a search for time variation of the FSC in the spectra of distant quasars,each sample yields a smaller α(then a larger c)in the past of the universe.The theory by P.Davies et.al.--published in Aug.8,2002,in the scientific journal Nature--,notably raises the possibility that light may have travelled at infinite speed at the time of Big Bang,and it would explain why the universe is so uniform.If the light speed was variated,we need to start re-examining the theory of space-time,i.e.the Special Relativity(SR).In order to explain the Webb's experiment,we advance a new theory that the speed of photon had been faster 3 to 13 billion years ago than present time,the energy of photon had been larger 3 to 13 billion year ago than present time;i.e.the value of the light speed(c) and the Planck constant(h) had been higher data than the normal data in today.
