在红移巡天中,由于星系本动速度的存在,星系的三维空间分布图像将会发生畸变,这种效应使得我们可以用动力学与统计方法,通过测量线性红移畸变因子来获取宇宙中大尺度上物质分布的信息。介绍了线性红移畸变效应的图像、理论,以及线性红移畸变因子β的测量方法和一些最新结果。
The maps of galaxy distribution in the Universe obtained from the redshift survey are distorted by the peculiar velocities of galaxies. This effect, which is called redshift distortion, provides a way to investigate the matter distribution on large scale by analysing the linear redshift distortion parameter β with dynamical and statistical methods. The theory of the linear redshift distortions, the basic methods of measuring β and some new measurements are reviewed.
