流?还是留?——论我国高师院校的走向问题

Reform of China Higher Education in Perspective

我国当前高师院校面临前所未有的挑战。在挑战面前,人们十分关注师范院校的走向问题。在走向问题上,有两种呼声:一是主张取消独立设置的师范院校,将其并入综合性大学;二是主张高师院校应当改弦易辙,向综合性大学发展。两者都失之偏颇。通过对师范教育发展的现状进行分析后,认为高师院校在近期内,应该会有一个持续稳定发展的时期。因此,高师院校应不断深化改革,固本培元。

At present, normal universities and colleges are facing unprecedented challenges. In the face of the challenges people have two viewpoints. One is that normal universities and colleges should be merged into comprehensive universities. The other is that normal universities and colleges should be turned into comprehensive universities. But in the writer's opinion, normal universities and colleges should be deeply reformed and lay a solid foundation to meet the need of education development.
