While enlarging enrolment has brought an unprecedented opportunity to the high education in China, it has also led to challenges and heavier responsibilities. Music education in a normal university, with its unique major, must step by step adapt itself to an increasing pressure from enlarging enrolment, intensify social responsibility for school-running to establish a new teaching system.
