摘要
图式理论是认知心理学家用以解释理解心理过程的一种理论,该理论认为,充分利用读者所具有的图式,即背景知识,能改变传统的阅读理解所存在的不足之处。用图式理论指导大学英语阅读教学,使读者在阅读理解过程中积极地参与思考,把握阅读技巧,是提高阅读理解水平的有效途径。
Schema theory is to explain people's psychological process in reading by the cognitive psychologists. It is believed that taking advantage of the readers' schema, that is, background knowledge, can make up for their deficiencies in reading. Applying the schema theory to teaching college English reading can help readers take active participate in thinking and acquire reading skills. It is an effective approach to improving reading comprehension
