《红楼梦》一部大书 ,书中吸烟描写仅有两处 ,但《红楼梦》中贾府人物其实是吸烟的。书中没有对吸烟作太多描写 ,其中既有主观原因 ,也有客观原因。弄清个中原因 ,有助于加深对《红楼梦》理解。

In A Dream of Red Mansions,there are only two cases of smoking mentioned.The Jia Mansion had no lack of smokers,but due to various reasons,the novelist used few words on smoking.This paper holds that a thorough analysis of the reasons will be helpful for a better understanding of the great novel.
