儒家以个人道德修养或国家仁政原则、礼义原则解释、运用《诗》;墨家从治国理念来释《诗》,把所引之《诗》说成是圣王之言;道家从自然主义立场出发,否定了《诗》的文化价值;法家从功利主义立场出发,否定了《诗》的社会功能。

The Taoist scholars try to defy the cultural values of the Book of Songs from the standpoint of naturalism; The legalists try to defy the social functions of the Book of Songs from the utilitarian standpoint.
