巴渝大地幅员广阔 ,物产丰富 ,物华天宝 ,人杰地灵。几千年来 ,人才辈出 ,群英荟萃 ,构成一道璀璨迷人的风景。这是和巴渝大地奇特的自然环境、独具的区位优势、稳固的军政中心、复合的文化组成、多样的办学模式分不开的。今天 ,我们应继承和发扬巴渝儿女在同自然与社会的搏击中表现出来的刚勇坚毅、重义守信、协作求新、团结奋斗的文化精神 ,虽处内地而不封闭 ,虽守一方而有开放意识 ,立足本土 ,胸怀天下 ,为祖国的现代化事业和中华民族的伟大复兴培育更多英才 。

Chongqing is a place with a vast territory, abound products and talented people who bring glory to it. During the past hundreds of years, there was a continuous rising of people with talent in Chongqing and it was a spot for the gathering of heroes and people of greatness, which has helped to formulate fantastic scenery. And this is originated from its peculiar natural environment, unique location, sound military and political center, compound composition of culture as well as various patterns of different schools. Nowadays, we should follow and carry forward the spirit of fortitude, faith, collaboration, unity and striving shown in their fighting against the nature and society by Chongqing people. Though located in the interior, we people in Chongqing should not be blocked out and should possess the awareness of opening. Basing ourselves on Chongqing but considering the whole world, we should make much more contribution to the modernization of China and the great revival of the Chinese nation by training more qualified personnel.
