摘要 为减小开关电极烧蚀 ,延长开关的寿命 ,设计了一个旋转电弧场畸变间隙开关 ,方法是使开关间隙放电产生的电弧在外加磁场或自身产生的磁场的驱动作用下沿着开关电极的表面运动 ,从而达到减小开关电极烧蚀的效果。给出了不同开关结构、不同电极材料和不同电流波形情况下的大电流烧蚀的微观照片。 To extend the switch lifetime by minimizing electrode erosion, rotary arc gap switches (RAG) are proposed in the literatures. The rotation of the arc can be achieved by providing an external rotating magnetic field or by self induced magnetic field. The rail gap switch has the advantages of low impedance, long burn out life, wide operating range and low jitter time. In this paper the RAG and rail gap are combined together, a switch is designed, and the characteristic of the switch has been studied. The switch has low jitter and wide operating voltage range. The results indicate that the RAG switch employing a sharp knife edge electrode as a third trigger electrode can distinctly reduce the electrode erosion and prolong the lifetime of the switch. The surface conditions and photomicrographs of the electrode surface of two materials (aluminum and brass), different wave transferring current and non RAG switch are presented.
