In this article, binding-modes of Polypyridly-Complexes binding to DNA and factors affecting the binding of complexes to DNA are reviewed. Experimental methods which study acting mechanisms of complexes binding to DNA are introduced, including UV, Fluorescence, Electrochemistry and NMR .
