摘要
本文报道一种适用于一般实验室的四氧化锇回收法。根据物质氧化还原和分配层析的原理,将废固定液中锇的化合物氧化成OsO_4,用四氯化碳萃取其中绝大部分的OsO_4,再加入乙醇还原得到黑色的二氧化锇沉淀,根据需要称取干燥了的二氧化锇粉末,加入过氧化氢即可得OsO_4水溶液。对比实验研究表明,回收OsO_4的固定和染色效果并不逊于商品OsO_4,而回收5.0g OsO_4所需费用只相当于购0.05g的商品OsO_4。
This paper presents a simple method 0f recovering osmium tetroxide(Os0_4)from used fixative solutions. The method which can be conveniently used in general laboratories is based on the principles of oxidation-reduction reac-tion and partition chromatography. The osmium compounds in the used fixative solutions are oxidized to Os04. Al-most all the osmium tetroxide is then extracted into carbon tetrachloride. The black precipitate of osmium dioxide is obtained by reducing the OsO_4 with ethanol. An aqueous solution of Os0_4 can be prepared by oxidizing certain a-mount of dried osmium dioxide with hydrogen peroxide. The comparative study showed that the fixation and stain-ing ability of recovered Os0_4 is as good as that of commercial Os04. The cost of reclaiming 5. 0g of Os04 is only e-qual to that of 0. 05g 0f commercial Os0_4.
