The development of computer aided instructional system is the focal point in drawing education in many colleges and universities nowadays.According to the characteristic of engineering drawing CAI teaching system,the main contents, the hypertext technology,the design of system's overall structure,the browse and navigation,the feature design and its practice of the multimedia software on the engineering drawing CAI are expounded explicitly.It is verified by the teaching practice that above techniques are stable and can satisfy the practical demands.These techniques can be used for reference in developping correlative multimedia teaching systems.
