The paper discusses mainly the preservation and re-functioning of historical buildings in Bund area in Shanghai,in comparison witthose of foreign countries. It suggests some conservation measures,i.e.,to emphasize on the variety of conservation ways,strengthen thdealing nodes with water,enhance extension and appreciation,improve traffic condition.
