The survey of development of waterproofing materials and sealing materials in Europe,U.S.and Japan is introduced.The article points out that though the change in category of building waterproof materials is not very much,the progress has been made to varying degrees for various kinds of waterproof materials.The decrease of paper based asphalt felt by a big margin is the general trend,instead,a large number of advanced waterproof materials are coming in.
