《关于正确处理人民内部矛盾的问题》虽有不足之处,但总体上看它是一部伟大的著作。《正处》不是"无产阶级专政下的继续革命"的理论源头,不能把它列入毛泽东晚年错误中去。《正处》揭示了社会主义社会巩固和发展的动力机制,奠定了社会主义改革的深层理论基础。今天我们正在进行的政治、经济体制改革所依据的根本理论,正是《正处》所阐明的社会主义社会基本矛盾的理论。

Although the work Correct Handling of Contradictions Among the People by Mao Zedang has some defects,it is a masterpiece as a whole.It cannot be regarrded as the rudiment for the theory of continued revolution in the condition of proletarian dictatorship,and cannot be included into the errors by Mao in his later years either.The article has revealed the motive mechanism for the consoliation and the development of socialism to lay a theoritical foundation for socialist reform.It must be considered as the foundamental guiding theory for today's political and economic reform.
