摘要
佛教虽然从因缘聚散方面揭示出事物虚妄不实的本质 ,但同时又肯定 ,事物从现象上看又是不空而有的。这样 ,佛教就从对现实美的否定走向了再否定 ,即对现实美的变相肯定。以“圆”为美 ,是佛教对现实美的变相肯定的突出表现之一。佛教认为 ,圆形圆满无缺 ,是现实中最美的图形 ;涅圆满无缺 ,因而称“圆寂”;般若圆通无碍 ,因而称“圆智”;佛法圆活生动 ,故称“法圆”。如果说“净”是佛典中频繁出现的道德术语 ,那么“圆”则是佛典中频繁出现的美学术语。
While revealing the false nature of things in terms of meeting and parting of hetupratyaya, Buddhism points out that things are not empty but being in phenomenon. Thus, Buddhism makes a re negation from the negation of real beauty, namely, a covert affirmation of real beauty. Taking 'round' as beauty is one of the manifestations of such covert affirmation. Buddhism considers that the round is the most beautiful graph in reality, manifested in itsd term such as parinirvana. If 'purity' is a moral term frequently appeared in Buddhist classics, 'round' is an aesthetic term frequently appeared in Buddhist classics also.
