人大常委会个案监督是指人大常委会对司法机关办理并已生效但属违法又不依法纠正的案件进行监督。各级人大常委会对同级司法机关实施个案监督,是强化各级国家权力机关监督职能的新生事物,也是当前社会各界普遍关注和议论的热点问题。如何认识和实践人大常委会个案监督,使其成为一种合理合法、行之有效、富有生命力的监督方式,是各级人大常委会应该着力研究和解决的一个重要课题。

Individual cases supervision of Standing Committee of the National People 's Congress(SCNPC) refers to the supervision that judicial offices have resolved cases which violate the law but are not resolved by law. Individual cases supervision implemented by Standing Committee of the National People 's Congress of different levels is a new thing to strengthen supervision duty of national power offices and is a present focus for all walks of society to popularly care for and discuss. How to realize and practice individual cases supervision of SCNPC is an important issue for SCNPC of all levels of governments to study and resolve in order to make the supervision reasonable, legal, effective and alive.
