在高等教育中贯彻"三个代表"重要思想,关键在坚持与时俱进,核心在坚持先进性,本质在坚持教育为民。坚持与时俱进,就是要用发展着的马克思主义教育学生;坚持先进性,就是要求高等教育不断满足中国先进生产力发展要求和始终代表中国先进文化发展方向;坚持教育为民,就是要求高等教育顺应时代发展,培养大量能适应社会发展的合格人才,以发展先进生产力和先进文化、维护和实现最广大人民的根本利益为己任。

On college education, implementing Three Represents Theory hinges on insisting on the theories of advancement with the age, the Party's advancement and education for the people. Insisting on the advancement with the age means educating the students with the developing Marxism. Insisting on the advancement must require college education to adapt to Chinese advanced productive power and advanced cultural development continually. Insisting on education for the people requires college education to suit the development of age and train a lot of eligible talents adapting to the social development in order to develop the advanced productive power and advanced culture and protect and realize the fundamental interests of most of people.
