The Kunlun Culture and the Chu Poetry

“神话昆仑”的地理位置大致在今青海高原一带 ,史前期人类曾在这里创造过中华文化源头之一的昆仑文化。昆仑文化对楚辞的主要影响表现在四个方面 :一曰昆仑文化之情结 ,二曰神人杂糅之习俗 ,三曰时空跨越之思维 。

The mythological Kunlun is believed to be located where the Qinghai Plateau is today,and was the locale where the prehistorical Chinese culture, namely, the Kunlun Culture, flourished.It influenced the Chu poetry in the following four aspects: the complexe of the Kunlun culture, the folklore of the man god combination, the transcendence of space and time, and the worship of the Earth God and the elevation of female spirits.
