PARASITIC TREMATODES FROM FISHES OF SICHUAN PROVINCE IN CHINA II. ONE NEW GENUS AND FOUR NEW SPECIES OF UROTREMATIDAE、 OPECOELIDAE AND LEPOCREADIIDAE (TREMATODA: DIGENEA)

This paper describes one new genus and four new species of digenetic trematodes from fishes. All measurements are in mm. All type specimens are deposited in the Department of Veterinary Science, Sichuan Agricultural University. Urotrematidae Poche, 1962 1. Urotrema glyptothoraci sp. nov.(figs. 1-4)The description is based on 10 specimens from the intestine of Glyptothorax sinense in Qian-wei County (29°15'N, 103°47'E). Sichuan. Body 2.465-3.040×0.475-0.626. Oral sucker 0.091 -0.121×0.111-0.121. Acetabulum 0.111-0.131×0.111-0.131, in anterior one fifth of body. Pharynx 0.061 in diameter. Oesophagus 0.172-0.273 long. Ceca extend to the area between posterior one fourth and one fifth of body. Testes tandem, usually preequatorial; anterior testis 0.232-0.333×0.212-0.303, posterior one 0.242-0.374×0.242-0.343. Cirrus pouch placed in-vertedly at subextremity of body, 0.344-0.485×0.051-0.071. Ovary 0.101-0.182×0.111-0.182, close to posteriodextral border of acetabulum. Seminal receptacle 0.070-0.111×0.050-0.101. Vitellaria extend in the field between the middle of oesophagus and the aceabulum or ovary, forming a transversal band. Uterus winding between vitellaria and cirrus pouch. Eggs 9.023-0.025×0.013. Excretory vesicle tubular.This new species is similar to Urotrema proeilecitha Wang, 1986 and U. postlecitha Wang, 1986, but it can be distinguished from the latter two by the following features. 1. vitellaria extend in the field between the middle of oesophagus and the acetabulum or ovary, forming a transversal band. 2. uterus has the ascend limb reaching to vitellaria. and 3. cirrus pouch longer.Opecoelidae Ozaki, 19252. Plagioporus (Plagioporus) schizothoraci sp. nov. (figs. 5-7)The description is based on 10 specimens from the intestine of Schizothorax prenanti in Yaan (30°N, 103°3'E), Sichuan. Body 1.657-2.323×0.566-0.818. Oral sucker 0.131-0.162 × 0.182-0.232. Pharynx 0.091-0.131×0.111-0.152. Oesophagus 0.061-0.111 long. Ceca extend to the subextremity of body. Acetabulum 0.232-0.354×0.253-0.354, in anterior part of middle third of body. Testes oblique, in posterior half of body; anterior testis 0.222-0.333 × 0.162-0.242, posterior one 0.253-0.404×0.182-0.253. Cirrus pouch 0.323-0.424×0.121-9.182, divided by fine neck-like constriction into two parts., Genital pore submarginal to left side of body, at level of intestinal bifurcation. Ovary four lobed, 0.202-0.293×0.121-0.182, opposite anterior testis or opposite between two testes. Vitellaria extend from intestinal bifurcation to subextremity of body. Uterus winding between acetabulum and posterior testis, confluent across median line in front of acetabulum and behind posterior or anterior testis. Eggs 0.048-0.060×0.025-0.033. Excretory vesicle tubular.This new species is similar to Plagioporus (P.) sickuanensis Wang, 1985, but it differs from the latter by the following features: 1. testes entire, 2. cirrus pouch divided by fine neck-like constriction into two parts, 3. seminal vesicle tubular, winding; 4. vitellaria confluent across median line in front of acetabulum; 5. genital pore situated at the level of intestinal bifu-rcation; and 6. eggs smaller.3. Plagioporus (Plagioporus) allovaris sp. nov. (figs. 8-11)The description is based on 10 specimens from the intestine of Triplophysa grahami in Yaan (30°N, 103°3'E), Sichuan. Body 2.202-2.980×0.707-1.010. Oral sucker 0.141-0.202 × 0.182-0.253. Pharynx 0.101-0.141×0.111-0.152. Oesophagus 0.152-0.263 long. Ceca extend to the area between posterior one fifth and one twelfth of body. Acetabulum 0.293-0.333× 0.293-0.343, about one third to two sevenths of body length from anterior extremity. Testes usually oblique, in posterior two fifths of body; anterior testis 0.162-0.364×0.162-0.303, pos- terior one 0.232-0.394×0.162-0.333. Cirrus pouch 0.374-0.586×0.061-0.131, divided by fine neck-like constriction into two parts. Genital pore submarginal to left side of body in the oesophageal region. Ovary 0.202-0.333×0.343-0.444, right to anterior testis, with many prominences various in size and shape
