云南高黎贡山茸足蚤属一新种(蚤目:细蚤科)

A NEW SPECIES OF GEUSIBIA FROM MT. GAOLIGONG,YUNNAN PROVINCE (SIPHONAPTERA: LEPTOPSYLLIDAE)

本文报道了1987年底从滇西边陲高黎贡山南段西坡(约东经98°68′,北纬26°01′;海拔3,100米)的灰颈鼠兔贡山亚种Ochotona foerrsti sogoodi体采获的一新种(仅1)方形茸足蚤Geusibia quadrata。它近于微突茸足蚤G.minutipronula Zhang et Liu,1984及其宁陕亚种G.m.ningshanensis Zhang et Liu,1984,指形茸足蚤G.digitiforma Gong et Lin,1990和结实茸足蚤G.torosa Jordan,1932,但该新种基节臼鬃位置较低、抱器后腹突较短小、可动突后腹角显著地凸出和无窦、第9腹板后臂基部的腹膨宽大近似方形和阳茎钩突的端腹角较发达等综合特征可与其它近缘种区分。

Geusibia quadrata sp. nov.This new species (only male is known) is related to G. minutiprominula Zhang et Liu, 1984 (including G. m. ningshanensis Zhang et Liu 1934), G. digitiforma Gong et Lin, 1990 and G. torosa Jordan, 1932 but differs from the latter three species by the follwing characters: 1) the acetabular bristle placed distinctly below the level of the long bristle of movable process; 2) the postero-ventral projction of clasper shorter and small; 3) the postero-ventral angle of movable process conspicuous by convex and without sinus; 4) the ventral dilation of distal arm of st. IX broader, square (hence the new flea is named); 5) the ventral-apical angle of crochet is developed and broader than that of minutiprominula (including m. ningshanen-sis) and digitiforma. In addition, it differs from minutiprominula minutiprominula (including m. ningshanensis) by the st. Ⅷwithout a Y-shaped internal scterotic strut borne in the cen'ral portion; it differs from digitiforma by the much shorter apodeme of t. IX (only about 1/2 as long as manubrium), and fixed process with a conspicuous tooth-like projection on the pos-tero-margin of subapical part; it differs from torosa by the much long and narrow fixed process of clasper.Holotype♂, ex Ochotona foerrsti osgoodi, collected from Mt. Gaoligong in (96°68' E. Long., 26°01' N. Lat.; elevation 3,100 m.), Lushui County, Yunnan Province in December, 1987. Body lenght: 3.4 mm.. The type specimen is kept in the Research Institute of Epidemic Diseases of Yunnan Province.
