囊宫科绦虫一新种(绦虫纲:圆叶目)

A NEW SPECIES OF CESTODES FAMILY DILEPIDIDAE (CESTOIDEA: CYCLOPHYLLIDEA)

本文报道在湖北省鄂西地区鸟类绦虫标本中发现一新种,隶于囊宫科、侧孔属,定名为鄂西侧孔绦虫,新种Lateriporus exiensis,sp.nov.。本文对新种的形态作了详细描述,对新种与近似种的主要特征到表进行比较,并讨论了建新种的依据。

This paper presents a new species belonging to Dilepididae. Lateripor us exiensis sp. nov. (figs. 1-4) (unit: mm)Host Ardeola bacchus (Bonaparte), Apus affinis subfarcatus (Blyth).Location Small intestine.Locality Xuanen (30°01'N, 100°45'E), Hefeng (29°90'N, 110°05'E), Xianfeng (29°70'N, 100°15'E) County, Exi prefecture, Hubei Province, China.Holotype and paratypes are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica.Description Strobila 1.7741-2.7655 in length.and 0.1991-0.320 in maximum width. Neck very short, 0.0258×0.0693. Immature proglottids 0.0172-0.0519×0.0779-0.0866, mature 0.1032-0.1039 × 0.1819-0.1992, gravid 0.1732-0.2252 × 0.2945-0.3118. Genital pores unilateral, with opening at anterior third of lateral margin of the proglottid.Scolex roundish, 0.1558-0.1819 in width. Sucker 4, unarmed, 0.0677-0.7740× 0.0519-0.0606, Rostellum short, 0.0519-0.0635 × 0.0433-0.0614, bearing a single crown of 10 booklets, each of which measures 0.0317 in length.Testes 6-8, rounded, 0.0254-0.0296×0.0212-0.0254, distributed mainly in posterior half of mature proglottid, behind and at the each side of the female genital organs. Cirrus pouch shuttle-shaped, slightly sinuous, 0.0740-0.1385 in length and 0.0190-0.0433 in diameter, with the bottom of the pouch reaching or exceeding the median line of the proglottid. Cirrus spined, 0.0690-0.0972×0.169-0.0211. Ovary with 4-5 lobes, located in the middle region of segment. Vitelline gland triangular or elliptical, compact, posterior to the ovary. Seminal receptacle present. Vagina ventral to cirrus pouch. Uterus sac-like, occupying entire medulla. Eggs rounded, thin-shelled, 0.0275-0.0423×0.0296. Oncosphere knob-like, 0.0169-0.0190 in diameter.Discussion The new species resembles Lateriporus recapta and L. mathevossi-anae, but differs from the latter 2 species mainly by the form and size of the ro- stellar booklets, and the number of the testes. Rostellar hooks of the new species is longer than L. recapta, shorter than L. mathevossianae. In the new species the testes are 6-8 in number, while in L. recapta 15-20 in number, in L. mathevo-ssianae 10-12 in number. For comparison of other characteristics see Tab. 1
