方突斯氏蚤雌性的记述和雄性的形态补充(蚤目:角叶蚤科)

A DESCRIPTION OF THE FEMALE OF SMITIPSYLLA QUADRAT A XIE & LI, 1990, WITH SUPPLEMENT ON CERTAIN STRUCTURES OF THE MALE (SIPHONAPTERA: CERATOPHYLLIDAE)

方突斯氏蚤 Smizipsylla quadrasa Xie er Li, 1990是解宝琦和李长江先生仅根据从滇西腾冲县(1983年,屈文正采)得到的一只雄性标本记述的(动物分类学报,15(3):369—372)。1988年4月,我们从高黎贡山东坡(泸水县)采获数对该种蚤,本文就此首次记述雌性,并对雄性的部份形态作补充。

The description of Smitipsylla quadrata Xie et Li, 1990 was based on a single male specimen from Tengchong County of Yunnan. In the present paper the female is described for the first time, and a supplement to certain characters of male.Diagnosis. Female is quite closely related to Smitipsylla maseri Lewis, 1971 and S. prodigiosa Smit, 1975 but separable from the latters by the following charades: 1) the posterior margin of sternum Ⅶ is more rounded and its lower margin has a small notch; 2) the hilla of spermatheca is shorter (about 3/4 tie length of the bulga). In addition, the pronotal comb with more spines (19-23 in the male and 21-23 in the female), wihch differs from the prodigiosa; also differs from the prodigiosa and maseri in the apex of crochet of the aedeagus broader, and fimbriated ventral margins of crochet shorter.Specimens examined. 80♂♂, 7♀♀ ex Petaurista albiventor, were collected from Mt. Gaoligong (26°01’N,99°8’E, 2,700m.), Lushui County, Yunnan Province in April, 1988. Body length: ♂ 3.2-3.9mm., ♀ 3.9-4.8mm.. The speciemens are kept in the Research Institute of Epidemic Diseases of Yunnan Province.
