A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS EPICLINATA FROM CHINA (HOMOPTERA: CICADELLOIDEA: LEDRIDAE)

本文记述耳叶蝉科斜胸叶蝉属一新种:黄缘斜胸叶蝉Epiclinata flavomarinata sp.nov.。标本采自我国西藏。文中描述了新种的外部形态及雄性外生殖器构造特征,并与近似种进行比较,附有主要特征图。模式标本保存于中国科学院动物研究所。

This paper describes a new species of the genus Epiclincta Metcalf, collected from the Xi-zang Autonomic Region, China. The type specimen is deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Aca-demia Sinica.Epiclinata flavomarginata sp. nov. (figs. -8)This species is similar to Epiclinata planata (Fabricius), but differs from the latter in the relatively bigger size, the lateral angles of pronotum acutely expended, the tegmina with a brown spot on disk and the costal margins light yellow, and in the structure of every element of the male genitalia.♂, Length: 19.5mm, incl. tegm. 22.0mm, of crown 2.5mm; Width of hea 6.3mm; Exp. pronot. angl. 12.0mm.Holotype♂, Moduo Co.
