In this article, authors introduce the construction technology adopted in the Chongqing light railway station tunnel project, and state the construction technology of shallowburied and large span urban tunnel and the control method for blast vibration and ground surface sedimentation. These technologies and method can be referred for construction of similar shallowburied urban tunnels.
