分析了目前肿瘤防治的现状,指出病因研究任务艰巨,误诊误治现象普遍,治疗效果停滞不前。在此基础上指出应调整肿瘤防治的思路,要努力做到“三早”,由过去的任其发展转变为有效检控,由亡羊补牢变为防患于未然,由被动就诊变为主动寻觅,由形态诊断变为物质诊断。同时要树立经济学观念。

Currently, in the fields of tumour prevention and treatment, there are quite a few problems, including difficult etiological studies, prevailing mis - diagnosis and mis - treatment as well as stagnant treatment efficacy. Healthcare providers shall do their best to realize 'Three Early' (Early Finding, Early Diagnosis and Early Treatment) . There shall be some change in tumour prevention and treatment, including from 'let it be' to effective examination and control, from 'mending the fold after the sheep is lost' to 'providing against possible trouble', from passively seeking for medical advice to actively screening for potential patient, and from morphological diagnosis to material diagnosis. Meanwhile, economic ideas shall be formed.
