Combining necking and spinning process, the theoretical model and the calculation formulas of the spinning force on necking spinning of thin walled tube is established in this paper. The effects of the main forming parameters, such as the spinning mode, the pass reduction Δ and the feed rate of the roller per revolution f etc, on the ball spinning are analyzed experimentally.
