摘要
光子晶体是具有光子能带及能隙的一类新型材料,具有奇特的性质和广阔的应用前景。本文简述了光子晶体的主要特征,重点阐述了三维有序结构光子晶体的制作方法,并介绍了调节光子带隙的手段。
Photonic crystals were dielectric structures modulated periodically on the scale of optical wavelength. Under specific conditions, they can exhibit a forbidden band of frequencies, a photonic band gap (PBG). The existence of a PBG gives rise to a number of interesting and useful properties. So photonic crystals were the focus of global research and development efforts. This paper presented some characteristics of photonic crystals, the ways for tuning PBG and the methods for preparation of threedimensional photonic crystals.
