摘要
综述了硅酸镓镧晶体近20年来的研究概况。介绍了这种晶体的结构、生长和性质,讨论和总结了研究进展及趋势。指出采用替代或双掺的方法取代该晶体中的镓及提高晶体生长质量及重复性,降低成本是该晶体实用化的关键。并提出重视在旋光效应存在条件下电光效应的利用。
This paper summarizes the researches on langasite single crystal in details for the past two decades. Its structure, growth and properties were described. The research progress and trend was also discussed. It is the key problem that the high production cost of LGS restricts its wide applications. So, it was pointed out that the gallium would be replaced by substitution of other cheap elements, so as to reduce the materials cost. And it is also important to increase the growth efficiency and pay much attention to the crystal quality. The application of the electrooptical effect under the existence of optical rotation may be a new field for LGS crystal.
