Fiction played a very important role in culture at the beginning of civilization, but after its definition by Ban Gu, fiction has become a marginalized discourse type and diminished in importance. But thanks to its unique position in the history of culture, fiction survives and prospers, absorbing all literary and cultural elements from historical documentations, songs and lyrics. The open directness of fiction language, at the same time, is capable of digesting the most complicated linguistic elements and expressing the richest ideas.
