史铁生是我国当代著名的残疾人作家。经历15年的地坛生活，史铁生看透了生死，看透了生活，与老一代红卫兵张承志、张伟等的理想主义相比，史铁生的理想主义更为深刻，是一种个人的开放的、宽容的、注重过程的、充满爱心的理想主义。赋予荒谬以意义，并能证明其意义。人格上富于激情，富于理性，注重对灵魂的拯救。有淡泊、宁静、清醒的个人意识与精神定力，有宽宏大度，超凡而不脱俗的精神圣者形象。

ShiTiesheng is a famous handicapped writer in the present age.After 15 years' hard life,he outguesses life and death,his idealism is more profundity comparing with the old generation's idealism like Zhang Chengzhi,Zhang Wei. His idealism is an open,generous and full of love.Absurdity has meaning and significance,people pay more attention to the redemption of the soul, fill themselves with esusiasm and reason, they do not seek fame and wealth, try their best to be the image of oracle.
