杨虎城主政陕西时期的教育思想浅探

杨虎城是国民党地方将领，出身行伍，文化程度不高，但他在主政陕西时期很重视发展教育。他的教育思想主要表现为：要重视发展教育事业，教育经费要有保障、要独立，从实际出发，分清主次办教育，极力提倡学术思想自由和抗日爱国教育，要重视人才的培养和提高教学质量。他的教育思想对今天尚有借鉴意义。
