Unavoidable Conceptual Errors——Ideas about the two books on history of contemporary literature

洪子诚教授著《中国当代文学史》,陈思和教授主编《中国当代文学史教程》出版后,好评迭出,超越轻描淡写的商榷罕见。经较长时间冷静谛视,觉其虽堪称重写文学史的重要收获,但也存在无可避讳的,与过分重视个人随意性,过于忽视必须有的公正、科学等共性的浮躁批评热接近之观念闪失,有对毛泽东文学思想的评述过于偏激,将新时期军旅小说、当代报告文学拒于评述大门之外等,轻重失衡评述失当表现。

As soon as published, the two publications, one is the History of Contemporary Chinese Literature by professor Hong Zi - chen , the other is the Course of History of Contemporary Chinese edited by professor Cheng Si -he, received many good comments which were all unanimously agreement. Yet, with scrutiny, I find out that, although they can be called the great accomplishment in rewriting history of literature, there are still some unavoidable conceptual errors . The two books overemphasize the personal opinions, whereas, ignore the idea of - important justice and scientific nature. They also hold extreme view about Mao Ze - dong thoughts on literature, while,neglecting the military novels and contemporary reports in recent time. The above - mentioned is the manifestation of inadequacy , inaccuracy and loss of balance .
