Superficially,the Web is believed to lack structure and organization as a whole Recent research,however,shows it’s self organized to some extent Analyses of the Web’s network of hyperlinks reveal an intricate structure that is proved to be valuable for organizing information,improving search methods and understanding the Web in a broader technological and social context This paper first introduces the concept and taxonomy of Web mining,then illustrates some classical algorithms,finally gives some application examples of Web structure
