Determination of Insoluble Azo Dyes and Pigments in Acetonitrile-Alcohol-Water System With Titanium Trichloride by Potentiometric Method

Sodium citrate was used as a complex catalyst for the titanium trichloride to reduce insoluble azo dyes and pigments in acetonitrile-alcohol-water system. The reducing agents, complexing agents and reducing conditions were studied in detail. A lot of pure samples and commercial samples were determined in order to verify this method.
