摘要
无线局域网(WLAN)是一种低成本的无线接入技术,作为GPRS或cdma2000的补充,或作为新的家庭联网方式,其标准在不断被深化、延伸。其中,为适应安全认证、漫游和QoS等方面的要求,802.11b/a等标准在不断升级和发展,而IEEE正在制订的802.11e/f/g/h/i等标准也各有侧重,介绍了这几种标准最新的进展情况。
WLAN is a kind of low-cost wireless access technology. As the supplement for GPRS or cdma2000 or as a new networking mode, its standards are being developed and extended. To adapt to the requirements of safety certification, roaming and QoS, 802.11b and 802.11a are being upgraded, while 802.11e, f, g, h, i standards of IEEE focusing on different aspects. Recent progress of these standards are introduced in this paper.
