摘要
由新产品设计迅速形成高效、低成本、优质的批量生产并抢占市场 ,能否快速制模 ( RT)尤其是快速制造金属模具 ( RMT)是关键。RT技术在硅胶、树脂等软模快速制造方面已取得长足进步 ,目前正向快速制造金属硬模尤其是直接快速制造金属模具 ( DRMT)方向迅速发展。介绍了快速制模尤其是快速制造金属模具技术在材料、工艺、设备方面的研究进展 ,以及RMT技术与高速铣削技术 ( HSM)各自的优势 ,并探讨了与其竞争中面临的关键问题。
The key of Rapid Tooling (RT) , especially of the Rapid Metal Tooling(RMT) is to be put into practice, and how to quickly form batch production with great efficiency, low cost and high grade so as to race to control the market by the design of the new production. RT technology has made great progresses in rapid soft tooling such as silica and resin tooling, and now it is speeding up toward to the Rapid Hard Metal Tooling (RHMT), particularly the Direct Rapid Metal Tooling (DRMT). In this paper, the latest development of RT, mainly the development on material, technics and equipment of RMT is introduced, and then the corresponding advantages of RMT and High Speed Milling (HSM) respectively and some key problems that RMT facing the competition against High Speed Milling (HSM) are also discussed.
