中国加入WTO后,铁路运输面临着公路及其他运输方式的严峻挑战,尤其是铁路货运还将受到来自国际货运市场的挑战。在这种形势下,铁路货运应充分发扬铁路运输的优势,充分考虑铁路站点自身能力和企业的需求,将基本服务和增值服务融合在供应链中,不断创新产品内容,使铁路运输向第三方物流发展,实现铁路资源的优化配置。
After China's accession into WTO, railway transportation is facing powerfulchallenges from highway and other means of transportation. Especially for railwayfreight transportation, the challenges also come from international freight transportationmarket. Under this situation, railway freight transport shall bring full play of railwaytransport advantages, fully consider the capacity of railway stations and the demandsof enterprises, merge the fundamental services and value-added services into thesupply chain, innovate the contents of products, so as to develop towards third-partylogistics and to optimize the configuration of railway resources.
