An Experimental Report on the Resin Tapping of Pinus elliottii Engelm

本试验以大田县桃源林场13年生的湿地松为材料,对湿地松产脂量、最佳采脂间隔期的选择、采脂对湿地松生长量的影响进行试验研究,并采用方差分析等方法,对湿地松7种不同处理方法进行差异显著检验,确定合理的采脂间隔期。结果表明,胸径17cm的湿地松平均单刀产脂量为32g;采脂间隔期3—5天,不仅产脂量较大,而且对湿地松生长量影响小。

The present experiment on the resin-producing yield, the selection ofoptimal tapping interval time and the effect of tapping on the growth incrementof Pinus elliottii Engelm was carried out by using the 13-year-old slash pine inTaoguan Forest Farm of Datian County. Moreover, a variance analysis wasmade on 7 different tapping treatment methods for the test of significance of difference. The results demonstrate that the slash pine with 17cm chest-height di-ameter can produce 32g of resin each tapping time. The resin-producing yield ishigher at intervals of 3--5 days and the tapping has just a little influence on thegrowth increment of slash pine,
